Sale led a participatory performance as part of the Love Bites exhibition at Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson. The event comprised three segments, including engaging the audience in a write-your-own activity and group reading. The audience members were each given paper with individually-stamped green circles. On back of each card, Sale had printed these instructions: 1. Write about love. 2. Each love poem must fit easily on a button or two. 3. But you can¹t use the word love itself.
